ABSORBook Neurodivergence – a little book that invites understanding
Dear human,
this ABSORBook – Neurodivergence is a little book about autism, ADHD, high sensitivity, and different ways of experiencing and perceiving the world.
It is for parents and families, for professionals – and equally for those who may only just be beginning to understand why they themselves, or their child, sometimes experience the world differently.
Short everyday situations are accompanied by accessible background information. The aim is not to judge behaviour or to try to “fix” a person, but to make visible what might lie behind a certain behaviour.
This is also the guiding thought that runs through the entire project:
UNDERSTANDING and ACCEPTANCE instead of fixing
